27-29/11 2A Class Chalet

From 24-27 November, I attended this Adam Khoo study camp that lasted for 14+h everyday from 8-10.30pm for consecutively 4 days. At first I thought I would actually die of boredom in there, but pure fate/coincidence brought me a big surprise when one of my group mates told me that she actually knew me through twitter before the camp even started. To top it off, she was besties with Xingyee and Leryee in primary school. This is pure fats. I mean fate.

The camp was actually very fun, apart from the fact that my butt rotted from sitting on the bare floor for so damn long, and the room was at a subzero temperature.

By the way of you noticed a common trend in this kind of camps, there is always a pattern. The last day, last few sessions is always a mega crying session, then after that they drag your parents into the scene. Always like that. Then some people will be like ” Eh do I look like I just cried? “ But seriously I know that they want us to appreciate our parents but then no need to go so extreme right ._. Like if you walk into the hall and your dad and mum sees you sobbing your eyes out then it’ll be errr awkward.

So when the camp finally ended, I was actually kinda reluctant to leave my group mates behind because 4 days was enough to bond us somewhat together, although there were occasional disagreements.

Boys, when can you ever mature?

After the camp, the next day my dad drove me to Costa Sands Resort in Downtown East.
And our chalet was L10 which was just directly facing the pool 😀 how convenient. I always wanted to swim in the pool but the there’s always this dumb lifeguard on duty and I have no proper swimming wear and I never dared to go down in home clothes even though I perfectly know how to swim. Dumb shit.

The room was rather shabby, and not clean at all. There are 2 storeys and only the upper floor has aircon. The first night the girls took the aircon room and the second night the boys took it.

I only went on the second day because the first day clashed with the last day of the study camp.

In the morning we went bowling and I realized one thing about my bowling skills : It deteriorates terribly after time.
At first I still can hit 8-9 pins each time but then as it goes my aiming starts to go haywire and then the gutters come in. Qianyu and Matthew are such good bowlers. I am jealous.

Lunch was Mac.

In the afternoon we went cycling around east coast park and Cindy unfortunately fell down and scraped her leg and blood started to flow quite disgustingly. But she was strong enough not to cry and like a winner she picked herself back up and never grumbled about the pain 😀

The rest of the time was pretty much indoor slacking.

We had BBQ at around 6 and we ate Otahs, chicken wings, nuggets, satays and fried rice. There was a kind man from another unit who helped us start fire because apparently we were having some issues starting a good fire at first.

Admit it, we all like to eat barbecued food, but we hate the process of barbecuing. Especially when all the smoke blows in your face and for a moment you’re like BLEARGH.

At night 12.15am Dilys, Xinping, Lisa, Felicia, Nichole and I went to Cathay Downtown East to watch Breaking Dawn. It’s a nice show, but kinda too gory. A thousand years part 2 😀

I called Sheri before and after the movie and I hereby conclude Sheri Eng Xue Ying is the most retarded woman humankind has ever seen.

We all slept at like 4am, everyone huddled around 2 mats, smelling each others’ feet.

In the morning I finally got what I wished for, a dive in the pool. I changed my clothes into dark colour clothes and when the stupid lifeguard wasn’t looking, I plunged into the pool.
Definition of heaven.
At the same time Fanxi and Cindy were snapping photos of me and some photos were pretty classic.

But of course your hair gets screwed after you go for a swim.

Time passes by at the speed of light. Cherish what you got, before it’s gone forever.

Missing you was dark grey all alone 💜

No but I really miss you. Please come back.
