This blog began in 2012, when I was in secondary school, with the intention to serve as a daily journal. Furthermore, I wanted to prove to myself back then that I was capable of sustaining a blog, after several failed attempts previously.
Almost a decade later, I can definitely say that this has been my most successful blog to date; and hopefully the only blog I’ll ever have until the end. I refuse to delete any blog posts from the past (though I have locked some), no matter how cringey, because they constitute my personal history. Over the years, my writing style has changed, as have the content; and so have I.
This blog is a personal journey for myself to document my present, which will become the past in the future. Granted, I am posting less frequently — this is because I also keep a completely private offline diary — but what I do post are posts carefully thought through, and posts that I feel are worth remembering.
I’m not too concerned with who may read this blog, since it is after all a public blog. Nonetheless, I do not advertise this blog (although it’s on my social media links, I don’t promote it). If you read my blog, you’re welcome to have a glimpse into my life. All I ask is for you to be respectful and courteous. Don’t ask me who my posts are referring to — some I may have forgotten myself.
